Our Beginnings:
City Crossroads was founded by Pastor Tim Doramus (COG) in the fall of 1984 with the mission to provide children in the inner city with a safe and fun place to experience Jesus Christ, then to bring that experience to their family and friends. While times have changed, our mission hasn't.
The Mission Today:
The ministry is carried on by Pastors Mike and Ann Moberg (COG). The Church of God Outpost is where you can get involved in a short-term mission or internship. Every year, US American churches send missions teams across borders and over seas, when all the meaningful experiences of a missions trip are availabe in our own inner cities. more>>>

City Crossroads, San Francisco, CA
Drug abuse, alcoholism, homelessness, over-crowded housing, gangs and crimes – are everyday problems in the South of Market area near the Tenderloin district in San Francisco. It’s also home to the city’s highest concentration of children - almost 4,000. Their role models? Pimps, prostitutes, drug dealers, alcoholics and gang bangers. Their alternative? City Crossroads.
City Crossroads is a high-impact non-profit corporation with an intentional ministry to multi-ethnic youth and low-income families. Our holistic approach to urban missions meets the real spiritual, physical, social, educational, emotional and relational needs of the city's children and their families.
